Santhosh learned the subtitles of the art of photography from his father who is a photojournalist from Kerala, a state of India. He specialized in Black and White Street Photography and at the very young age, he was exposed to photography equipment. At the age of 15 he bagged first place in photography at the YMCA annual photography exhibition. The following year, a second place was awarded for the annual exhibition. A bachelor’s in commerce, Santhosh still had the seeds of photography sowed in his mind which made him to continue pursing photography by watching his father’s works.

In 2008, Santhosh was recognized by the human resource department, Indian government for an online photography contest which was titled “Save Water, Save Earth”. Santhosh also hold two diploma in photography from Centre of Digital Imaging Technology from Government of Kerala and Centre of Labour and Training Centre, New Delhi.

He learned the basics of film photography from a veteran cinematographer whose work was highly appreciated in the early 70’s. He is a post graduate in print journalism from Trivandrum press club and worked as a photojournalist for Vibrant Keralam(an elite magazine by Government of Kerala to promote tourism and a special correspondent for DC Book for their magazines such as Tours and Travels and Emerging Kerala.

Santhosh is a Post Graduate in Journalism, who in the Kingdom of Bahrain worked as a special correspondent for Daily Tribune Newspaper where he specialized in automobile journalism, art and culture and investigative photojournalism.

Some of the major achievements in the field of photography are as follows.

  • Exhibitions based on street photography, where all the sale proceeds were given to charity.
  • Streetalight Photography Exhibition at Museum Hall, Trivandrum for Sree Chitra home for poor and destitutes. Sri Chitra Home for Destitute and Infirm
  • Photography exhibition sponsored by Lalithakala Academy (Government of Kerala) at Darbar Hall, Cochin, Kerala.
  • Photography Exhibition and Lecture on basic photography principles at the Bangalore Christ University.
  • Exhibition for the Oxford Soldiers by Oxford Photography Club 2022.
